Affordable 50ft Adjustable Optic

Can anyone suggest an affordable rifle scope that will adjust down clearly to 50ft ?

 

A dot reticle would be preferred.

 

Looking to keep the purchase under 400 dollars.

What kind of shooting are you using the scope for?

I use a Vortex Crossfire II 6-24x50 AO on my air rifle because it focuses down to 30 ft.  It's generally available for $300.

Chuck, when I was shooting Sporterifle I used to modify scopes to focus at 50 feet. I would take an adjustable objective scope, remove the locking ring inside the objective lens. Then you can turn the lens to focus where you want it. It works great. I ended up using a 36 power scope that focused to 50 ft. Don't need to spend a lot on a scope to shoot indoor Sporterifle. Making the 7.5 pound weight limit was another problem. Good luck.
