300BLK vs 223 Caliber Conversion

What's the difference in these two? Can I buy the 223 conversion kit and a separate powder funnel for the 300BLK? Do I even need a separate powder funnel for the 300BLK?

Yes you need different powder funnel, different caliper.

That is all you really need if you have a 223 conversion already.

Get the 7.62 x 39 funnel so you can bell the cases if needed. It works better than the 300 acc funnel. I tried both.

 

The case feed adapter is also different and you need to use the large pistol case feeder plate with the washer.

I think I have the 30 carbine funnel and still use the small rifle plate.

This is what I used.

 

I did find I think it was the large pistol plate with the washer on the underside works better.

On my 1050 the case feed tube thing at the bottom is different it's white like 223 is but has a shorter opening.

I'm using a powder funnel "C" with just a slight bell than lite crimp on final stage.  I load a lot of cast & frangible bullets.
