Battle in the Bluegrass X 12-13Apr19

Recommended Posts

Got this from Shana Scarberry today.

Are you ready to celebrate a decade of Battles?!

Battle in the Bluegrass X will take place April 12-13, 2019 at Bluegrass Sportsmen's League in Wilmore, Kentucky.  Expect another year of fun stages, top notch staff, and an awards supper/prize table to hang around for (I've given up on anything weather related, so come prepared for everything).

Registration opens Friday, February 1st.  Have a sponsor who would be interested in supporting the match?  Send me a note!

See you in April! - Shana

Hoping to shoot this match this year. Always looks like a well put together and run match.

I emailed Shana for more info. When I get something back, I'll post it here.

Got this from Shana this morning.

This Friday, February 1st is the day!

Registration opens 9pm EST.  Process will be just like last year - you register Friday night, I comb through registrations over the weekend and send out emails confirming whether you're in the match or on the wait list.  Payment instructions will be included for those who are NOT on the wait list.

The match fee of $125 includes a match tshirt (since it's year 10 and that's kinda awesome).  You can order additional shirts through me after registration.

Looking forward to seeing everyone in April!!

Shana

So I've shot in competition before, never shot a USPSA, signed up to join.  Bad idea to make this my first uspsa?  I've shot IDPA and different variations and local matches etc..

It appears to be the end, yes. There will be other lvl 2 matches there, but no more SS/PD only lvl 2's...at least not called the Battle anyway.

This was, to no surprise, another great match. Many thanks to Shana and company.

I also wanted to commend the ROs on Stage 1 for running things properly and actually calling the RM to fix a heavy-set popper. I believe that was a first for me at a major match.
