Don was very responsive on Facebook, less on email. With Facebook shutting him down, I would keep trying.

I appreciate it. I shot him a message on his new Facebook page, I'm guessing he may just be busy given the dynamic times COVID-19 has us in right now.

Anyone have success in getting in touch with Don for a build recently? Shot him a message on Facebook and an email last week, haven't heard back yet. Understandably so, what with everything that is going on recently; just wondering if he perhaps isn't accepting orders for new builds at this time?

I spoke with him Wednesday. He’s been busy but with everything shut down kinda throws a wrench in the whole process. I’m waiting a test fire and coating. Seems like every time we get all out ducks in a row something throws a wrench in the plan.

Ah, gotcha. No worries, I'm sure he will get back to me soon enough. That build is looking mighty fine, I'm jealous!

I was bored today....and it seems like “all” the cool kids have covers for their open guns. So, I made one up for myself.

I don’t have time to make any up right now, but can send you a message when I get more made up.

  • 2 weeks later...

Just received my latest open rig from Don.

As with my last rig...Don knocked it out of the park. Beautiful work!

This one is a "middy" in 9mm major.

My first rig is a full length.

I am very interested in feeling the difference in how it shoots vs the full length. They are pretty much the same over all length and the middy actually weighs a bit...only 3/10's of an once...more.

As everyone else has stated...Don does GREAT work.

Now to get the parts together for a third build!
