PCC 9MM top end

Who makes a 9mm PCC top end that will fit an AR15 lower?

And what mags will work with it?

If you wanted to use a 9MM upper with a .223 lower you would need to get a mag block that would convert the lower, and use either Colt or Glock mags.

However, you're mag release will be funky, and you can pretty much buy a dedicated PCC lower for the same cost.  There are likely less expensive mag blocks available, but I believe the word on that one it's top-notch. 

 

As far as built uppers..   PSA comes to mind. In fact, for a lower-end gun you can get a fully built  PSA dirt cheap on most holidays when they run their sales.  Guys who take PCC more seriously will generally end up building lighter guns with nicer bolts, etc..   I'd say quite a few of us started with a PSA.  Got hooked, and upgraded.

Hello: Looks like someone needs to do some reading. Lots of inserts for the AR15 magwell for Colt of Glock magazines also. The Hahn one for Colt mags works great. Thanks, Eric

Lots of uppers available. Another magazine choice is the MEAN Arms Endomag, which fits inside of Pmags, so no mag block needed. I just got some but haven’t assembled them yet. Limited to 30 rounds unfortunately.

Skip to page 8, no real news. Biggest issue with endomag is how long will it last since the ejector is top part of mag insert which is plastic.

Definitely a concern. Lifetime warranty but that doesn’t help if it breaks a lot. Thinking of switching over to the Guard system, that way the ejector is on the bolt.

That seems to be best setup if you want to go that route.

Hahn block for colt mags.

If going glock mag, I'd suggest going with a factory built glock lower. 

I got a PSA blem for $69 and it works great with a Taccom upper. 

If you want to get the best, get a QC 10 lower.
