Brian04rs
After searching the inter webs for a ss chambered in 40,I’ve come up short. Sig makes the max edition and stainless match but both are out of stock everywhere. Rock island makes one but is a bull barrel Are there any other options I’ve missed? Don’t want to spend a lot since I won’t shoot ss regularly. Sad that sti doesn’t seem to be offering Trojans in that caliber anymore. Dawson has 9 Trojans but don’t want to be limited to minor only.Interested in 40 since I load it already for limited. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

TheSandMan491
Para makes one I think. Otherwise there’s a few Trojan 40s on GunBroker usually.

Brian04rs
Thanks for link ChuckS, I’ve heard nothing but good about dan Wesson guns. Might have to go that route if nothing else presents itself. I mainly shoot limited and am venturing into open at the moment, but early next spring there is a 1911 only outlaw match I’d like to attend so that has started me down the path of this 40 ss venture. I understand the you get what you pay for saying is and most always will stand true. Just trying to explore options being as I won’t be playing in ss all to often. Thanks for the input thus far gents.

IHAVEGAS
In my next life I am going to order a Les Baer Premier 2 in 40, always wanted to but didn't want to deal with the cost and lead time.
Loves2Shoot
Check with CZ Custom for a Dan Wesson SSC.
tha1000
You should be able to find a reasonably priced used trojan in 40 either here or on the gunbroker. I think @lilbeauxdawg had one listed recently. I have two and they have been flawless.
G T
I just picked up a Reminngton .400 from Buds gun shop
Brian04rs
Ive never purchased from gunbroker, how reliable of a source is it? I’ve had very good luck purchasing from this forum. I’ll check into the gun broker option

dthomas1003
Tripp Research has their Navigator in .40. I have seen and handled a couple of them and they are very nice guns.
MemphisMechanic
https://www.classicfirearms.com/remington-firearms-96717-1911-r1/ Found through Gun Deals by searching “remington 1911 .40” for you. If you’re not familair with it... just type ‘gun.deals’ into your browser’s address bar and hit enter. It searches all the major retailers.
OPENB
That looks like the old Para Pro Comp. I had one, and it was decent.
