Syntech 150 gr tumbling.

Hey I'm checking to see if anyone else is having issues with the Federal Syntech 150gr load tumbling. I'm noticing occasional sideways bullet impacts on targets past about 15 yards (greater the distance the greater the chance of tumbling)

Shooting out of a CZ Shadow 2 with OEM barrel with about 10k rounds through it.

Interesting. I just ordered a bunch to shoot at nationals.

I shot 500 rounds and didn’t have any issues, but most of my targets were in the 10-18 yard range.

I was very impressed with the accuracy of the Federal Suppressor ammo in 124gr, but I wanted a little more weight for the steel targets. I’m shooting out of a Stock 2.

No issues out of Glock 34 barrel, as well as KKM 1/10 twist.  I’ve shot 1,000 rounds, with quite a bit at 25yds.

I've put 700 rounds through a shadow, and 200 rounds through a g17. Primarily 15 yards and in, although I did shoot at 30 yards to double-check point of impact. No issues.

I'm also getting light strikes on this batch . I suspect I may have a bad lot. This is exactly what I needed for nationals. SIKE.

Most likely, it's poor bullet to barrel fit.  CZ bores are sometimes a little over-sized.  And when you have a bullet that's a hair too small for the bore, the lower the velocity of the bullet, the more likely it is to destabilize early and tumble.

Do you have the lot number?  I have a bunch of this ammo from various lots, I would like to compare.
