Holsters for 8 3/8" S&W?

Hi all, 

 

I've caught the revolver bug and I was wondering what kind of holster options I have for a S&W model 29 with a 8 3/8" bbl. I found some custom leather ones but they're all prohibitively expensive or shoulder holsters and the range I shoot at doesn't allow shoulder carry or crossdraw due to the direction of the barrel. 

 

I was looking at the Ernie Hill revo holsters or the safariland 002 holsters but I don't think they are long enough for the barrel. Could anyone shine some light on this?

DAA Alpha X works fine with any barrel length.

Yes on the Cup 002 holster.  I've used one in competition for years.  Works well.

I used a heat gun on my Cup 002 to get the fit just right for my 629. Super easy and fits like a glove, but you probably don't even have to do that.

I put my revolvers in a DAA Alpha X. It locked them in tight as a vault and it doesn't matter how long the barrel is.

I occasionally use a 8 3/8 in competition.

 

The guga won't work, not long enough

 

Stick with the double alpha race master,or other of that style. Works with any length
