jaep1911
A GG competition trigger kit is arriving soon for my P320 X-five and I started taking the FCU apart to learn how the unit works and polish this and that. No sweat.. but the trigger stop pin does not want to come out. I can spin it freely and slide it a tiny bit in the holes by my fingers but even with some scary hard hits by a hammer and roll pin punch, it does not come out. I have learned that the pin used to come out without any force. What has changed? Is it just a manufacturing variation in tolerance? I really want to install the tube on it to reduce the over-travel. Any suggestions to remove it would greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Edited October 7, 2018 by jaep1911
dave33
Mine was the same way, just didn't want to come out even with some very stout hits. Seems mine was slightly mushroomed from the factory. Ended up filing around the edges of the end of the pin and then gave it some very hard hits with a heavy hammer and it finally came out.
