Has anyone used this brass in a 929. What did you think of it

Thanks

John

I assume you mean Xtreme. Does it have a step or ledge inside the case. If so , toss it.

Isnt x-treme coated steel? My magnet always picks them out when sorting.

Not the ones I have.  I just double-checked them with a magnet...

I have a small coffee can with a bunch in it that stuck. That's strange. They even feel heavier than a normal case.

Do they have a step inside the case that reduces the internal volume?

I think X-Treme cases have gone through various changes...

The ones I have right now seem fine to me.  I will load and shoot them when I get enough to do so.  (Yeah, I like to sort my cases by headstamp - OCD?  Perhaps... LOL!)

No step. Normal style case. I sort for revolver only. But go thru with the mag and these seem to always stick. I just toss them aside. Maybe load for plinking with my Sig or something.

The new X-treme cases don’t have a step inside. I have a bunch of them that I loaded for practice rounds.

The Maxxtraxx headstamp do have the step/ledge inside the case and I just toss them when I sort my cases by headstamp.
