NIB M&P9 Pro mag tuning

Today I picked up my new M&P9 Pro " 5 and loaded some dummy rounds into the mags (10 rnd mags) and the 10th round would not stay in the mag on either one(!!). Is this a factory fault and will my mag tuning work void what ever warranty is available to me? That is, should I just go ahead and tune up the mag tolerances and warranty "be damned"? WARNING: this will probably not be my last post on tuning up this gun to USPSA ready condition...wish me luck.

 

Edit: problem solved...it wasn't anything serious enough that 150 rounds through the gun wouldn't fix! This gun has found a home.

Problem cured with 150 rounds down range.

Thanks. Good thought. This just may be the trial to put the warranty to the test.

I have over 200 rounds through my 10-round mags and the 10th round is still very tight when loaded. Been thinking of trimming some of the plastic from the base pads to see if that solves the issue.
