191138sc
For those of you shooting coated bullets (BBI, Blue, Acme etc.) what is the max velocity you have found that will not gunk up your compensator?
kujo929
Over 1500 on blue bullet 115’s with no issues. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hi-Power Jack
For a little more $$$, I shoot JHP's - no gunk . If you're going to shoot coated, spray the comp before shooting, and scrub it after each session - don't let it build up
Jumprun13k
Ive loaded BBI and Falcon 115s to 1500+ with no issues.
36873687
I shot blues at 1500. Comp not bad but it does need cleaned a lot more than with jhp. Accuracy blows with my guns an blues. Going try some .356 size. I just practice with em anyway cause I haven’t found em to be as accurate in my open guns
kujo929
I tend to get a lot better accuracy out of the 125’s where they don’t need to be pushed as hard, but liked the feel of the 115’s better. And for the accuracy required in Uspsa it didn’t matter for me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
rishii
115 blues pushed to 1500fps one trick I read here is to coat the inside of the comp with kroil after every shooting session it creeps under the gunk and the next time you shoot, it gets blown out
bigboy69
Blues are tested at over 1500fps
