kitsune312
Is there any difference in accuracy between a stock gen3 glock 17 vs the gen4? I read somewhere about the barrel locking lug being different, but dont have a gen 3 now to compare. On my gen 4, stock barrel with a 3.5 connector, i usually get 2 inch groups at 25 yards. Its the g17 gen5 that has a different lockup, uses the g19 locking block and lug pattern. With the different rifling and lockup its supposed to be more accurate than previous gens. I have one to pickup up this week. Will have to bench and see.
12glocks
Gen 5 guns are noticeably more accurate an are probably going to be my choice going forward. I believe it is published that the Gen 5 guns (the 17 I believe specifically) are designed to shoot into 3" at 50 yards from a machine rest.
