I still see PCC as a pistol with more bulk and stability.

In the sense that it is too big to be a pistol and not shaped like a pistol and not held in any way similar to a pistol then perhaps when viewed from an oblique angle it is sort of pistol like ish, in a way, maybe.

will brag about winning a pistol match shooting a rifle.

Unless you shoot open you will not be able to tell any difference.

Yeah Fritz was pushing hard for the weight limit due to the so called exclusion of Glock and others from the podium.

Has this Fritz guy ever heard of Robert Vogel?

The large tail(USPSA) wagging the small dog(IPSC).  Sorry to hear the news about PCC.  Now foreigners will brag about winning a pistol match shooting a rifle.

to answer the question. yes of course Fritz knows who Bob is, however, one guy doesn't mean much when most of the sport is filled with metal frame guns. His idea for PO Light was that having that division would result in a large influx of shooters running poly guns, in fact he wanted Optics to have a weight limit period, not have two PO divisions. Looking at the results world wide, Light is basically a failed division.

PDO Light is a dumb idea and should have been drowned at birth

Once again proving that you can't force the market to bend to your will through regulations.

So when is IPSC scrapping this PO Light division?

Both Production Optics Divisions (normal and Lite) are :

"under evaluation and, unless extended, it will expire on 31 December 2020."

(IPSC Handgun Rules 2019)
