Dragonman108
I recently picked up this glock 17L with what looks like a factory ported barrel and was looking for some info on it. I'm not sure if it is a gen 1 or 2 gun but has a db serial number. It has definitely seen better days as far as wear but has a incredible trigger pull. I have read that there were some issues with the factory ported barrels but not quite sure. Any info you guys have would be greatly appreciated. Steve RA
The original 17Ls had a ported barrel, later ones did not.

Southpaw
That's a Gen 1. Very cool! Good score!
mmlook
I believe you can still buy replacement ported barrels for the 17L and the 24 probably the only issue would be cleaning it, and if you are running hot loads, or dirty powder, it'll turn the front sight black after a few shots
