blindmarksman
Anyone use pine tar? I use chalk (pro grip) but was thinking about adding something else would help even more.
Nathanb
I used pine tar and surf wax when I played softball. There is no way I’d want that on my gun
lacivilian
Yeah I’m in the no boat on this one. I played baseball for years and used pine tar at every at bat. No way in hell in putting that on my Open gun.
sfinney
Just no. To many other things like progrip that work.
rowdyb
If I am shooting a match that is raining non stop all day I will use a spray that is tacky, almost glue like. Other than that, pro grip or dirt.
Nathanb
The one drawback I found was it didn’t matter where you put it. It ended up on everything. I’d be really worried it would get into a moving action piece and that would be the end of the day
sfinney
Or on your magazines, or bullets. And they would be.... sticky. Eeewww.

Timmeh
#1: Skateboard tape or epoxy+silicon carbide grit #2: Use a grip enhancer Pro grip and chalk have worked well for me, but with a fairly aggressive grit the pro grip wont make a noticeable difference.
