Burris Fast Fire 3 on a S&W 627

Recommended Posts

Has anyone tried a Burris Fast Fire 3?  Whose mount did you use?  Are you satisfied with the way it performs?

I'm thinking of trying this out and looking for input.

Thanks

Joe

I tried one on my 627 with an Allchin mount and liked it but I decided to replace it with a C-More Railway with a 12 minute dot.  There is no weight added to the gun with the BFF-3 dot and mount,

Thanks Steve

Was the dot to small on the Fast Fire or what did you not like?

Joe,

I'm a fan of both Allchin Mounts and Raptor Engineering Mounts.

I've been running a DeltaPoint Pro (2.5 MOA), CMore RTS2 (6 MOA), Vortex Viper (6 MOA), and Vortex Venom (3 MOA).

Good Luck!

My 627 with a Fast-Fire 3 on a Raptor Engineering mount.... super - solid, low profile mount.

Alchin mount works slick.  Only downside I found with the ff3 is the small window..  Some draw & dry fire will help with finding the dot though..  I like the 8moa...

That's what black magic markers are for.

Brownells also has some oxide kits that work well.

Thanks to all.  I settled in on a Deltapoint Pro with a Raptor mount.

Thanks for all the input

I had a Vortex Venom on an Allchin mount that worked great. It was as close to bore as I could find and very solid.
