trigger on my 5" 2.0

+1 for the apex trigger.  I recently replaced mine with it a few months ago, and I absolutely love it.  If you're up for it, get the gunsmith fit barrel at the same time, and have a good gunsmith do both while they're at it.  That's what I did, and it's a whole new (and much better) gun.

Or just go with a shadow 2 instead of spending any more on the M&P.

This kit genuinely makes my M2.0 5" pistol have a trigger action like the good SA of my DA SA pistols. It can also make the trigger pull force extremely low, so you can tune it from 2lbs on up to your comfort and proficiency level.

The few people who don't shoot Shadows or Tanfogs in IPSC are going to be all over these if the proposed aftermarket trigger rule is adopted after Thailand

My 5" trigger was gritty as hell when I first got it, took a few years but it isn't so bad now. Although its worn down to only just over 5 lbs pull lol

That gritty feeling in my M2.0 pistol was due to the firing pin block safety plunger. I took very fine emery paper to the inside of the plunger bore to remove any burrs. Then I mirror polished my safety plunger. I also polished the trigger bar and dusted the side of the trigger itself. Trigger pull force then went to just  under 4 pounds with all stock components.

My new 5" 2.0 had a definite "hitch" in the stock trigger as the trigger bar lifted the firing pin block plunger.   An Apex DCEK that provided a new sear and "Ultimate" firing pin block plunger transformed the trigger pull.  The hitch is gone and the pull is both lighter and crisper.  The 2.0 trigger pull is better than the 1.0 but the DCEK is better than either.

I've used mine in USPSA and steel challenges. Do it you'll love the difference.

Everyone that shoots M&P's around me that don't have the FF/FS sear package that

try mine can't believe how fast of a trigger it is.

I've been responsible for the sale of several of these kits LOL

Same here, even some 1911 guys have been shocked how nice my trigger is.

This is a great trigger! I love mine and haven’t had an issue since installing it 2 years ago in my pro.
