Bwilmot
What is the difference in a 2011 style gun specifically set up for major and a gun that shoots minor? Besides comp , porting , FPS, and spring wieght. I’m just courious. Edited August 8, 2018 by Bwilmot
Broncman
Slide weight maybe, shorter barrel and comp possibly, recoil spring. Otherwise I think you got it.
Hi-Power Jack
My TruBor handles both Minor and Major pretty well IFF the gun is very clean and well lubricated, with a 10 lb spring. If I wanted to shoot a lot of minor, I'd probably just drop an 8 lb spring in it

MikeBurgess
The steel challenge guns I have seen have super light top ends. Their slides are usually very aggressively machined, often smaller and aluminum or TI. Frames for steel challenge guns tend not to be the extra long extra heavy ones so popular in USPSA right now as transition speed is a bigger deal.
