Wilson Combat 45 mags for 40?

Will these Wilson 45 mags run if I use 40s in them?

I am looking to use them in my Dan Wesson 40 for Limited 10.

I would look at Tripp research mags for 40 cal. I have the Wilson mags in both 40 and 45. Hard to beat the 45, but the 40 mags have very weak springs, or did when I bought them. Tripp has some 10mm 10 round mags that work great for 40

It seems the Wilson 10mm only hold 9 rounds.

If you're having any feeding issues, .45 magazine may cure it, in a .40.

Because of the slightly wider feed lips on a .45 magazine, the top round is presented slightly higher.

I've run all of the magazines listed in my .40 Trojans, without any problem.

I have run the WC 45 mags in my Trojan and they work well.. full disclosure... I run hardball round nose bullets for reliable feeding

If you are running them for L-10 the Tripp mags can't be beat

I have used Wilson .45 mags for my 10mm and had no problems, but I don't know how they will do with a .40.

Wilson Combat .45 mags run without fail in my Canyon Creek 40 1911's.

I've run wilson ETM and 47d in my .40 trojans with no issue... but as most above have mentioned, I am running the tripp cobra 10 rounders now.  No issue with those either.  All have run fine through my stock~ish guns.

Back to your original question: the answer is yes.  Read up on the feed lips dimensions.  I have used Wilson 45 mags in a Tripp built 40 but the feed lips were adjusted.  Brazos might have the specs or Gram.

I have had excellent luck with the trip mags in .40.  Call and get the Uspsa 10 round that fit the box. They hold

10 if you want to shoot minor and reload easy loaded at 8.
