TTI MPX Extensions

I recently purchased more TTI Extensions for my MPX. As I was installing them on the mags, I started thinking about how can I remove them if I had to....?

 

My main issue is how do I get the spring out of the mag extension without damaging the spring?

I just bend the spring over as I move the pad. It is flexible after all.

I was wondering that as well. Guess I'll just force the spring over. If it gets bent out of shape I'll just bend it back.

It won’t get bent over. This is how all magazine extensions work upon removal. It’ll be just fine!

Don't the MBX ext"s work a bit differently?

If it feels a little to hard to move when you try to slide the base off a coil may be in just the wrong spot, it sometimes helps to push the follower down some to reposition the coils and make it easier.
