Cavy
Was looking at JP's web sight and saw they now have an "enhanced" Gen 2 9mm SCS buffer for use with non JP bolts with weight removed. It seems to be capable of using additional weights if wanted/needed. Anybody have some experience with this? https://www.jprifles.com/buy.php?item=JPSCS2-9MM-5H2 Link to comment
Darqusoull13
It works. You can tune your load with both mass and spring weights. If you want to run factory ammo or suppressed a bunch it’s nice too. Link to comment
RaylanGivens
I have JP's 9mm Gen 2 "standard" four weight SCS buffer in my rifle with a Taccom extreme bolt... I removed the weight from the bolt. It has four weights instead of the five weights in the Gen 2 "enhanced" version... It works well with 133pf USPSA loads and also lighter SCSA loads. At some time I plan to buy a second SCS buffer so I can test weights and springs at the range without having to disassemble the buffer itself. Link to comment
