Ed2Alpha
Hello everyone, I'm looking at reloading 200g Zero bullets using N320. I've looked in a few reloading books and can't seem to find any load data. Does anyone have any experience with this combo and or does anyone know of any reloading books that have the load data? Thanks...
Mike21STI
I am working on the same load development. I had 200gr bayous that made 169pf with 4 grains so i was planning on starting at 4.2 and going up in .1 increments from there. (Assuming you are loading long)
bkrumme
4.6gr at 1.175 is my load. Makes major and shoots soft.
bulm540
4.3 to 4.4 made major. Gun is an SV LDC with ultimatch barrel. Love these combo. OAL 1.190 OAL. Just looked at my old notes, 4.6 to 4.7 with 320s. 4.3 to 4.4 was for moly coated bullets. Edited July 21, 2018 by bulm540
Excursion12
I had to go up to 4.8 gr at 1.20” to reliably hit major. Great combo with soft recoil.
Garrett
I had to pull out the notes from way back. In the late ‘90s I was loading a 200 gr. Montana Gold bullet to 1.235” over 5.3 gr. of N320 for a 182 PF. (This was back when Major PF was still 175). My work-up notes indicate I was getting a 172 PF with 4.7 gr. N230.
