New PCC......

Recommended Posts

Just finished a new build today. It's pretty much like the others only this one has the Bloodline 14.5 inch barrel.

These appear to be very good barrels. Excellent finish and will plunk and spin my 147 grain flat points to at least 1.165 inches. Could go a little further.

I'll have to wait a bit before I can go chrono some loads. I had a stent installed on the Fourth of July and am feeling a might punk.

The question I have is: Should I expect similar results from my usual loads for 16 inch barrels?

Have no advise on the\is as I don't have enough experience with a 16 inch barrel.  But I'm Sorry to hear about the stint, got one but not on July 4th, I hope you are doing well and no damage.  Search and you will come up with all kinds of answers on this sight as you know,  go have fun and Test it.

looks good - what magwell are you using?

That's from Titan Rocket Industries. It's a 3D.

Good looking blaster! I don't think 1.5" should make that drastic of a difference...?

Thanks. I don't think so either.

I’d like to see a build list.  It’s a real good looking rifle!

Thanks. It's the usual stuff.

Thunder Upper. Bloodline 14.5 inch medium barrel. Fortis brake. Taccom handguard. Faxon Gen 2 bolt. Raptor charge handle. C-More polymer/click with 8MOA dot.

QC10 Lower. Hiperfire Gen 2 24C trigger with shoe. BA 90/45 safety. Odin extended mag release. Magpul tube. Magpul stock and grip. 6 ounce buffer with a JP spring.

Gun weighs exactly 6 pounds.

Nice looking build, congrats!

Did you pin the comp to the barrel yourself, or did you have to send it to a gunsmith?

A local gunsmith here in town.

The Fortis brake comes pre-drilled for it.
