SFA 45 3Gun Charity Match

Recommended Posts

More info on this match.

The Pickaway County Sportsman's Range is hosting the Special Forces Association Chapter 45 (SFA 45) in a charity 3-Gun Match to benefit the soldiers of Company B, 2nd Battalion, 19th Special Forces Group and their families.  The 70 Green Berets and 4 support soldiers are the only unit of Green Berets stationed in Ohio and all these citizen soldiers are currently deployed on an eight month mission overseas.  In the past, funds raised by SFA 45 have been used to pay for travel and expenses for family members to visit wounded unit members in hospital at Walter Reed and in Germany.  Thankfully, that has not yet been necessary this deployment and the funds from this event are earmarked for a welcome home celebration for unit members and their families at the King's Island amusement park.

Please join us in a 1 day format, 8 stage, 3-gun match on September 29, 2018.  The number of competitors will be limited to 80 plus staff.  The match fee is $150.  The rule set will be IMGA as modified to accommodate range rules.  Lunch will be provided for all shooters and staff.  The prize table will be awarded by random draw.

Just had a meeting with Brigadier General Mark Arnold (retired). Were both excited about the match and the amount of prizes to give away. One of which is an M1Grand. Don't forget that all of the money raised will go to the Special forces. So get signed up.

Got the prizes for the benefit match. There are more prizes than shooters. I'll have that list for display shortly. We also have an AR rifle builder on the list. For now the rifle will be raffled off but that could change.
