Stymie12000
So reaming the comp definitely helped. Groups did shrink with the #7 load. All were within 2" @ 20 yards. I did not have any flyers that I was experiencing before. The accuracy is acceptable for uspsa but I think the gun is more accurate than what it's shooting. Still does not like the hs6 load (6" groups) My MG bullets should arrive today. I'm starting to think that this barrel might not like the coated bullets. Or at least the .355 blue! So I'm excited to see if the jacketed bullets help the accuracy even more.
Steve RA
Get a few sample packs of coated up to .358 and try them. Only way to find out.
Stymie12000
I have some 115 bayou that measure .357. But I got minor leading in the barrel and the comp was worse. If the jhp work then I'll just stick with them.
Stymie12000
Tested the MG 115 jhp today. Accuracy was very good. So I guess my problem was the baffle strikes and bullets. I tried 3 different loads with #7 and all 3 grouped well. 10.5gr was just over an inch @ 21 yards. I was under a time crunch so I'm sure I could improve the group. But that's more than acceptable for me. Thanks everyone!
