Prima sv for 9 major

Is anyone running prima sv for 9 major? If so care to share some load data

Way too fast for 9 major. The closest vectan powder (in the U.S) to make major is BA7.5, and it is still too fast for me.

Wild assed guess having never contemplated this before now...

 

My gut reaction is that Prima SV is on the faster side of the spectrum for 9mm minor.

Therefore it would be even more to the faster side for 9mm major.

And I'm going to guess more than a little too fast.

Curious to see what others think.

I figured it was just wanted to toss the idea out there. I use it in my limited major guns

With all due respect, 9mm major is nothing to load for without a solid foundation of reloading skills and knowledge, and the simple fact that you would even be thinking of loading 9mm major with Prima SV suggests you lack that reloading knowledge to undertake the endeavor safely.  SV is at the opposite end of the spectrum from pistol powders you should be looking at.

Most guys I know who run 9 major use autocomp,, Hs6, or aa 7.

I’ve run hs6 for a couple years without any problems,, clean gun usually after each match.
