PaulSchoon
Im trying to upgrade some of my Gas Blowback guns so they are a little better to train with so I can get more trigger time out side of the range, any suggestions?
falcor
I'm not sure what you mean by upgrade. Depending what type of pistols you have do you mean you intend to replace them for better ones? There is generally not a lot you can do with Airsoft guns. As long as it still operating near to where it was when you first bought it, you kind of got what you got. You can upgrade sights on some of them I run red dots on several mine also use a laser for some practice as my carry guns are Smith and Wesson bodyguards in 380 with lasers. Are you training with a timer if not I recommend the CED Airsoft timer it's what I use, timers are one way to judge performance.. Then I shoot almost all reactive targets on the move. I also set up steel challenge runs to keep my shot timing up. I don't know if this helps maybe if you clarify I might have another suggestion or two. In the meantime good luck take care and catch you later. Kennedy a.k.a. falcor Edited June 9, 2018 by falcor
samyour
You can flat hop your hop up, it tends to help with longer range shooting Edited June 24, 2018 by samyour
PaulSchoon
Thanks, I am using the WE Glock GBB Airsoft gun, just for shooting targets when I dont have the time to make it out to the range. I know you can change out the barrel and the hop up and stuff like that and was just woundering if there was any after market parts people suggested using to help. I know your clearly not going to be able to get an airsoft gun to perform the same as the real thing, its just a easy way to keep up on some trigger time. Ill defiantly check out the CED timer, thanks for the feed back
Maxtheninja
You can change out the barrel and make it more accurate, being a glock though, there are going to be lots of upgrade parts to put into it such as new nozzles and valves to get better gas flow and consistency. Maxtheninja
I'd recommend the Elite Force Glock 17 if you can afford it, it is probably the best handgun on the market rn, and it's an officially licensed Glock!
PaulSchoon
Iv heard a lot of good about the Elite Force Glock but it seams to be sold out, anywhere you know that still has them?
Maxtheninja
Yeah, the only place I know of is a store called modern airsoft in Oceanside. Here is the link. https://modernairsoft.com/collections/airsoft-pistol-glock
