shooter10mm
Okay guys I've been shooting something "Forever".....I feel like with Sporting Clays the juice isn't worth the squeeze anymore, or I'm just bored with it. I want to shoot 3-Gun.............Now what? How do I know what class to start? What equipment am I allowed to use in each class? Anyone got any super secret links I can peruse to educate myself? I just know in IDPA I had to use a defensive pistol, from concealment, I would carry normally, I wanna play with the Glock 34 MOS with or without optics...... Dudes I'm like a mushroom over here "In the Dark!!" Can anyone help a brother out with some links cause this sounds like a ton of typing if I had to explain it!!! HAhahaa! Hi-Power Jack
Welcome aboard Sounds like you have the pistol - 33% there …. You need an AR .223 and a 12 gauge shotgun. I'd start by going back in the archives here and reading about 3-gun, rifles and shotguns. No reason to start out huge - get a rifle with iron sights, and a basic shotgun and start reading the rules. Then, go to a local match, bring your equipment, and tell the MD that you're a FNG. He's probably invite you to join the shoot. If not, watch, listen and learn. Then, go to the next match. Have a ball, safely
shooter10mm
I own all the guns.....5 or 6 AR's a Scar17, some with optics some not, plenty of shotguns as I've won my share in Sporting clays and hunt everything. I've shot IDPA so I'm knowledgeable about the tasks I just have no idea how to put what I need together....?
