What thumb safeties does the Shadow 2 ship with - just the skinny ones on the gun or does a wider thumb safety come with it?  How do I ambidextrous wide safeties?

Thanks,

Jeff

I have looked everywhere for a left side extended for my TSO..  No luck yet.  My two Shadow 2s came with extended left side, but don't want to rob from them

Ben Stoeger shop has the CZ Shadow 2 Extended Ambi Safeties set in stock for $50 http://benstoegerproshop.com/cz-shadow-2-extended-ambi-safeties/

I like the extended safety but man that thing is loose and easy to inadvertently move. Does the extra strong spring help make it a bit more 1911ish?

it sure is I clicked mine on mid stage last week during a match. I thought I had a squib or some kind of jam. Luckily the RO that was standing next to me also shoots a shadow 2

and yelled "Check your Safety!". I had pushed it up during a reload :( I may take the extended one off and go back to the flush one, I rarely use it.

I love the CZC version on my TSO. So much so I looked around for a thumbrest to match

yes, that is what I am trying to do.  I have two Shadow 2s and safety works on my TSO, but don't want to take them off permanently.  Trying to just find one that can live on my TSO.

Yes it does. Replace the stock safety spring with Perman spring and you’re good to go.

Yes, exactly correct, the extra strength safety spring makes the safety more positive and clicky.
