What does canik mean?

It means you buy the floating pin for the canik gun and not the one for the CZ. The CZ pin is smaller in diameter (if memory is correct).

The canik pin will work in a Tanfo.

Here you go. My 4-part series that breaks it down step by step.

I think we’re up around 35,000 views now, which is a lot for a totally-unfollowed account like my own. I guess I did a halfway decent job.

Your videos were a huge help!

I took everything apart and polished where your videos suggested.  Although, I didn't go far as you did to get a mirror polish on everything.

I'm putting in a Dawson FO sight, and Wolff 10# recoil and 13# hammer springs.  I think I''ll stop there and try it out it again.  If I feel like it's a keeper, then I'll go over the Patriot Defense and add some other goodies.

Right now I'm just trying to decide whether I like it better than my Shadow 2.

Put a few hundred rounds through it.

Order Patriot’s springs for the firing pin, trigger, and sear, along with a single piece sear.

You’ll see where you need to do additional polishing, based on where the wear marks are. Shine her up and drop the rest of the parts in. Call her done.

...doesn’t matter. It’s a triggergimmick that doesn’t make the gun handle the slightest bit diferently. Save the $200 worth of parts.
