Stage brief

Two bar stools, bar with shot glass.cant move bar stools,ground was painted on each leg,shot glass has to be in circle on bar,gun Unloaded..that’s all.

shoot targets as to score. You had to move off stool to shoot most of the targets..so you had to stand up.

 

question where is first mag ?

what would U do.

Mag,in mag pouch

Mag,laying on bar,

Mag,laying on other bar stool

Mags have to be on belt if not specified you can have them on table.

Sounds like a pretty incomplete stage description, missing basic info. Why all the props if they arnt relevant ? Not to mention start position, Even if it is the default is usually spelled out.

Well unless you can pick those mags up at the beginning of the beep, and have them in your mag holders before the end of the beep you are in violation of the rule, as nothing in the WSB stipulates otherwise.
But really the problem is just a bad WSB.

I’m confused. Are you giving us half the description of the stage and asking us to help come up with the rest, or is that the whole description and you want advice on shooting the stage?

That means before the beep, but after make ready, they don't have to be in pouches, obviously. 

 

After the start signal, they do have to be on your belt, unless the stage description says otherwise.

I didn’t copy it but it says,,

seated at either barstool gun Unloaded strong hand on glass in circle. At signal load gun and engage targets as they become visible..

that was pretty much all it said..did not say where other hand was to be .

 

I don’t think we were supposed to put mag on table but a lot of people did..

someone complained because they loaded from the mag pouch and others loaded from the table,which I don’t think was any faster..

you could not shoot the whole stage sitting down..

so MD threw the stage out,,and It was one of my better stages,,

That seems to be the right call by the MD, after the fact. Bad form by the ROs who allowed it to happen.

yeh, all those mag on table guys violated rules,,, ro shouldnt have started them... He could have just issued a STOP command after are you ready, instructed shooter to stow mags, then re started commands with Make ready.
