Wisemenofgotham
Hello, I’m a long time lurker, finally decided to join. I’ve never shot any sports but I’m hoping to change that in the near future. I was looking to pick up a CZ Shadow 2 (my EDC is a CZ P07 UG with full Cajun Gun Works package), but decided on the Sig Sauer P320 X5 and Romeo 1 because I can try a few different divisions with it and decide on which one I like. It is currently with Sig for their “upgrade”, I’m planning to send it afterwards to Gray Guns for their competition flat trigger kit and install. Other plans include to pick up some more magazines and add Springer Precision’s +2 140mm base plates, as well as some 10rd full size magazines and a P320 full size complete slide in 40 S&W. In the future, I may look to add a BarSto match threaded bull barrel and Range 18 compensator if the X5 ends up being a good fit for me. As per the advice of Alma Cole, I’m also adding the GG stainless steel guide rod and 14lb ISMI recoil spring (I shoot Speer 124g and 147g at this time). I’m open to any opinions/insight, thank you so much for your time. Edited April 25, 2018 by Wisemenofgotham
Wisemenofgotham
UPDATE: While I enjoyed my P320 X5, I've always wanted to try out a 2011 but could not justify the price. Finally, I decided just to go for it and picked up a STI DVC 3GUN 9mm! Now, I'm already thinking about picking up an Atlas Chaos open gun. Slippery slope indeed.
