usmc1974
Poylmer AR lower? Yes? No? Why? I ask because I bought a stag arms AR15 223 and did not notice it has a Poylmer lower. Thanks B

Stag_Arms
We do not make polymer lowers. If it is polymer and has our logo on it, please contact me at support@stagarms.com. Thanks, Chris

emjbe
Is that polymer? or painted? If you separate the upper and look inside do you see polymer or aluminum? From the photo, it looks like painted aluminum to me.
usmc1974
I painted it it was all black in and out.
bluedevil008
It should be pretty dang obvious if it's polymer. Anyway, I would not use a polymer lower. It costs maybe $20 more for an aluminum receiver, a drop in the bucket for a full AR build. If you're looking to save weight, I think there are more important areas that actually affect the balance of the rifle, barrel, scope, stock, handguard, etc.
usmc1974
It is not poylmer, I checked a small spot when I installed the rise armermemt 140 trigger.
