Lukedrywalker
Is it safe to put the M&P polymer part of the gun in a ultrasonic cleaner with mild cleaner? I have been shooting USPSA for two years and feel I need to do a better cleaning than I have been doing.
L3324temp
I don’t know the answer. But I have never needed to do it to clean things up. Rem cleaner with a brush gets things nice and clean. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Avedis
Depending on the cleaner you're using in the ultrasonic, it may dry out the polymer frame. A few uses really wont damage much, but I can't see how it would be good to do it repeatedly. Everyone I have shown contact cleaner to has fully converted. Spray gun cleaner on frame, scrub with various brushes, spray clean with contact cleaner, lubricate as necessary.
