Faster Motor for 1050 casefeeder

Recommended Posts

Looking for faster (6rpm?) motor and a bit more torque.

The stock motor is 4rpm

I don’t need to reinvent the wheel if someone has done this already.

I need this so it can keep up with my Ammobot Rev. 3 during case processing.

The case feeder will keep up north of 2000rph....with 9mm.  It will keep up with 1500rph of 223.

Both of those are pretty fast.

What are you processing where you will be running faster than that?

9mm-
Initially I de-prime only and sense for ringers at the swaging station.
Wish I had that $700 wiz bang flipper to keep thing continuous and toss ringers in a bucket.
I remove the priming shuttle assembly. This can run 3K+
On the next pass-
Size, swage, M-die at the priming station (I run coated bullets), CNC Toolhead allows me to run a M-die at the priming station, prime, powder, bullet drop, seat and crimp.

Well north of 2000 per hour.  Like over 4000/hr with pistol cases.

And over 2000 rifle cases/hr.

yea @jmorris it was you I talked to several years ago(2012ish) on how fast it could be run...

I KNOW mine has kept up with me at 2000 rounds an hour on 9mm loading.  My arm...now thats another story.

I have never run one faster than 1200 running 223 cases, my 300blk cutter could never keep up with that type of feed rate.

Immortobot sells an upgraded casefeeder motor made by Forcht. I’m sure this could be made cheaper on your own but this works well for me.  I can feed my Case roller at 6,000/Hr with it now.
