Sad News On The Way To Nationals

I recieved a call on the way down to Nationals this past Wednesday. After years of battling several severe health conditions Nate Sawaya (Little Nate) passed away on 7/20/05.

For those of you who never knew Nate, you missed out. We refered to him as "Little Nate" since he was a professional Jockey for a time, and hence was not a large man in stature. His heart however was as large as anyone I have ever met. He was always there with a kind word and a smile, never put people down, and throughout his health struggles always stayed upbeat.

Nate is survived by his wife and young son.

May I be fortunate enough to be in his company on the other side.
