GrayR
Alright everyone so I’m looking st Dawson precision and they sell the Tripp 10mm magazines for $34 then when you look for the 40sw magazines it says 10mm/40sw $39. I’m just wondering if they’re both sized for 10mm what’s the difference. Anyone able to explain the difference to a rookie? Thanks in advance!! Joe4d
616-008 is an extended tube that holds 10 rounds, not as long as 45 10 rounders but wont fit IDPA box. I used these in Hawaii 10 round land shooting limited with a single stack. 616-012 is a fit the box 10 rounder that uses a chip mccormic type compressed follower,, some guns they work some they dont, plus they do wear out and quit working also probably a thinner but better quality wire spring to allow it that one more round. No idea why they label some mags 10 and some mags 10/40. There are also 40 mags that have a spacer in back or a crimp in front that wont take 10mm OAL ammo. I have found 1911's run better long loading your ammo then using the non spacer mags Edited March 26, 2018 by Joe4d
