CMB Posted July 22, 2005 Share Posted July 22, 2005 I run a slide mounted dr. sight. I've been having problems with the spent cases hitting the dr. site. Sometimes, maybe 1 out of 25 I get an empty case pinched in the ejection port (like a stove pipe but facing forward, not up). I think the empty case is bouncing off of my sight into the ejection port causing the jam. I've been told by a few people that the aftec would take care of this. I don't know if this is true or not, but before I shell out the cash for the aftec I would like a good idea if it will work or not. galt11 Posted August 21, 2005 Share Posted August 21, 2005 Without seeing the gun, I think it would be hard to diagnose, but I had an aftec put in my last open gun and never had a problem with it extracting anything.
