TBH I would welcome people doing that...I guarantee it is slower than reloading from a front "open shooter first mag position" mag pouch. Link to comment

If you couple (or splice) two mags together such that they become one mag and feed as such, you're good. If you couple two mags together such that they function as two different mags, each feeding from their respective feed lips, then you're not. Link to comment
