What do you think about the CZ Tactical that has a decocker?  That would let you start at half-cocked

If you want to shoot IDPA and USPSA with a CZ, try the Shadow.  Shoot it in SSP (DA/SA) and ESP (Cocked & locked) in IDPA . Shoot it in Production (DA/SA) and Limited - Minor (Cocked & Locked) in USPSA.

 

As for the DA-SA transition . . . . it just takes some time and practice, and if you have done some work on your pistol (or had someone like CZ Custom or Cajun Gun Works do it for you), it's even easier to learn, as the DA pull is light, smooth, and reliable!
