Jimmy76
I'm gearing up to give Carry Optics a run and wanted to ask which magazine extensions everyone likes or suggests for a S&W M&P 9mm Pro Series. I'm looking at the Taran Tactical and Springer Precision 140mm extensions but undecided as to which way to go. Thanks for the help! Jim
aandabooks
I've always preferred Taran extensions but they are more expensive.

OPENB
I had Taylor Freelance. They work fine, & a little cheaper than the others.
Avedis
Springers have worked 100% for me https://www.twobrostactical.com/collections/m-p/products/m-p-140mm-extended-base-pad-6-select-color
Bkreutz
The Taran Tactical's are easier to clean. (important feature if you have to drop your mags in the sand, mud, or dirt). The Taylor Freelance and the Springer's require a tool (screwdriver or hex key) to remove the base. The TT just has a pin that you can push one way and remove the baseplate. No tools to carry with (or lose). I have used all 3 when I was shooting a M&P, I've since changed platforms and use MBX's in my 2011.

I use Taylor Freelance extensions on my M&P, Glock and XDM with complete satisfaction. Edited March 2, 2018 by Krag
