wtturn
What's to say that hasn't already been said?Foley got what he wanted, member feedback be damned. It's a solution looking for a problem, with the convenient side effect of cashing in on USPSA's second largest division with aftermarket parts manufacturers. I have no problem with it whatsoever. I will still be beating the same people I usually beat in production. People that beat me will continue to beat me. mw365
I'm pretty happy with the changes. As a Glock shooter, my main interest is 1. no finger grooves, and 2. a magazine release that works better for my hand. The trigger upgrade is a nice step too. IHAVEGAS
They had me at "Undercutting/smoothing the trigger guard". A hard & sharp 90 edge on a steel framed gun takes some of the joy out of practice & shooting after a while, particularly when it is cold. Will not miss the callous spot on my right middle finger that cracks & bleeds now and then.
TrackCage
Not sure this changes anything I'd do to my production gun bit at first blush I'm good with it. Spend your money how you want, let the results be the judge
HI5-O
I just ordered the reach reduction trigger kit for my CZ S2. Keeping the economic engine turning.

PatJones
I agree, it fixed a problem that didn't exist. Unless you were an RO. Do you know what all the small parts look like on the more obscure position guns?
lacivilian
There will be no change in match performance and placement due to the new changes. People that are winners will still win and people that are losers well they will still lose.

I’m just mentioning that nothing is going to change match performance within these rules. Besides the possibility of having a bit better trigger on SOME guns, it’s a level playing field still. HoMiE
So since aftermarket parts has been added as minor external parts, does that mean paddle type mag releases are now Ok on glocks?

There is no statement in 21.6 that restricts the design of the aftermarket parts.
BritinUSA
Theoretically, one could also add a huge slide release that acted as a thumb-rest.
