Welded Colt style mags ?

To get the springs the correct width you may need to trim them where they meet in the roll pin. If you have some extra AR trigger guard roll pins they will work.

You can also use real small brass tubing and simply solder. I used 5/32" OD x 0.014" wall that I picked up at the local hardware store and that one piece of tubing will easily cover 12+ splices.

Thanks for the advise. I have picked up the mag today and it has ran flawless. 45 rounds without a bobble.  My friend that had cut and welded it for me is a Aero Space certified welder. Great job.  Anyone needing anything similar to what I had done, PM me and I can pass on his number.
