frgood
I received an email from them quoting over $6000 for their new pistol. That was an immediate "Never consider again".
levellinebrad
I'd rather own this for a few hundred more.

Word of advice: When your buddy says "Here! Shoot this in the match today." Don't do it. They are stupid easy shooting and beautiful to boot. I'll probably be lucky if I ever make it into A class but by gawd, I'll be shooting B Class open with a beautiful gun. Maybe it will motivate me to actually practice from time to time. Fowlmouths
Has anyone ever seen a Glock Open gun that was reliable? Not the barrel design I would copy?!

BroncoShooter
Apparently they are doing the reveal for the finished gun at the Vortex booth at the ShotShow.
traingq
Cool concept, just don't know how long they'd hold up
mike4045
I'll stick with my setup that works. I ran a switch top end 9mm and 40 that worked for 4 years before just building a lower for the 9mm. Not crazy about the glock style barrel.
3gunDQ
Gimmick. No other explanation needed. $6000.00 gimmick.... I wouldn’t buy one for 2k, hell 1k.
Maximis228
Vortex. Not the optic of choice for open either.
andersonj55126
I am assuming the comp needs to come off to remove the barrel from slide hence the need for no loctite screws.
Maximis228
Yes but I assume people will do that same as they do with an open Glock. Just don't take the slide/comp apart and never remove it from the slide. Just clean it whiles its on there. I dont see a sight block/comp being held solely by set screws being a good idea either. When locktite breaks free, fully, there is play left and right on the comp (Or sight block in this case), which causes deviation in sight alignment. Ssanders224
To clear up a couple of things, The comp does not need to be removed to remove the barrel (barrel is removed from the front). Also, there is no set screw (or loctite) required on the comp.

RaylanGivens
Odd that it comes with multiple barrels and so many magazines... Not much information on it anywhere...
Scott Steele
Odd that it comes with multiple barrels and so many magazines... Not much information on it anywhere... It's an open gun and a limited gun. Open gun uses 9mm barrel then screw on comp., screw on red dot mount, use provided shim/screw for extractor and use 9mm magazines. For limited you install .40 barrel, remove comp., remove red dot adjust screw for extractor and use .40 mags. This may not be 100% accurate but close to get the idea.... 2 guns same grip/trigger.I'd like to see a PT shooter shoot in all year documenting changing from open to limited every month. If it held up I'd be impressed.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I've been considering doing exactly that. Although Open division was my very 1st and is certainly my favorite division, so I was thinking of giving the Honcho my own personal torture test for the 2018 season. But I did shoot Limited for a while, back some time ago and would be up for giving that another try some time soon.

I mean if it broke you could just kick rocks.
