OPENB
I've found a couple 90's era small frame Witnesses. Would I have any issues tuning these into decent production or CO guns? I remember when the P9 was the hot sauce. I'd want to mill the slide for an optic, or better yet put in a dovetail mount if they existed for this gun. GrumpyOne
I don't see why not. As long as they are on the Production list, you should be good to go. I don't know about the dovetail mount though...
zombywoof
I love mine. It's on the production list. I started using this for CO before I bought my Stock ll. This is now my IDPA gun. I'm currently setting it up for my back up gun. Great gun, I've had this one for quite some time. It still performs.

zombywoof
I used this one. The mounts dovetail is wider than the frame. I had to have it trimmed. http://shop.springerprecision.com/product.sc?productId=261&categoryId=
johnbu
There are a few differences, but most of the current Patriotdefense hotness can be installed in small frames.
dogtired
I used a $20 1911 plate off Ebay, slightly undersized but works. Edited December 28, 2017 by dogtired
OPENB
Are they CZ on the inside? Does it take CZ75 mags?
MikeBurgess
Are they CZ on the inside? Does it take CZ75 mags? some older ones have cz main springs, newer ones are just like the large frame guns inside with the short transverse main spring. Yes they will take cz mags, Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G935A using Tapatalk
dogtired
The Eaa mags are a hair longer. Sometimes the cz 16 rd mags won’t lock in.
Garmil
I used some cz mags on mine. a few of them worked right away a couple I had to file the mag catch hole slightly.
