Sorry for the confusion.

That is why I put that info in article that accompanied the video.  I just got the gun the day before the match and had no time

to measure anything. So my "off the cuff" info was less than correct!

Pat , no worries . Love ya!

Does this use the SP01 mags? At last Shot Show I thought he mentioned using P09 mags on one of their new projects.

75 Bull Shadow comes with 2 16rnd magazines. So can use the 17rnd plated mag, 18rnd SP01 mag.

AO1 Prototype is using P09 magazines.

Thanks again for the video. Hell, three-fourths of the comments on the forum are off the cuff. I like that gun and the video and wish I could shoot as well as you.

Thank you!

I try to get all the info straight on camera, but you see me as I am in the field in real time. And sometimes I either

don't have all the info on tap or that info was not available at the time or my brain just ain't working quite right!

Angus also mentioned that they'd be working on their own frame next.

This would be a welcome development for those of us with man-sized 'Merican hands.  I have yet to handle a CZ (other than TS) that will fit my 9.75" hands.

Even the Shadow 2 is far too skinny.  The Tanfo Stock 2 fits me pretty well and would make a good template.

  • 1 year later...

The 75 Bull Shadow is on the USPSA Production and IPSC Production lists.

So does make a great Carry/Production Optics gun too.

Any hope the SPO1 Bull Shadow will be allowed in production soon ?  I am guessing it is a units sold issue ?

Thinking of one with the optics cut so I can run it in CO as well possibly.

Wow I did not know the Bull Shadow was not on the production list. I will wait on my purchase until it has been approved.

The 75 Bull Shadow is

doesn’t specifically state a SP01 Bull Shadow ( with the rail) or Shadow2 Bull Shadow (48+ounces) is.

Or are all three models considered a 75 ?

sorry for confusing the situation.

They are independent and different pistols so the SP01 Bull is NOT approved for USPSA production currently.

Thanks, figured it was as I use a Glock 34 and I remember when the whole MOS non MOS and different Gen made a difference though at the rate they push those vs. say a SP01 Bull it wasn’t an issue for long.

Will have to mail them and see how close they are to getting a SP01 Bull on the list I am considering swapping platforms and I really like the SP01

Aside from the rail, is there a reason you prefer the SP01 over the standard Bull Shadow? I think the frame has some checking differences but that’s easily made up with a little grip tape.

Stuart

what is the difference between the two?

I own one of each.

Shadow2 Bull uses a Shadow2 frame that’s blended to the contour of the Bull slide. It’s also got a dust cover with a mounting rail. Comes with 3 17rnd mags

Bull Shadow uses a CZ75 Frame without a dust cover or rail. Comes with 2 16 round mags

Shadow2 is considerably more nose heavy and feels larger in the hand.
