mattmann
What is everyone using for a throw lever on this scope? I have one coming and would like to add one. Also mounts. I have a p.e.p.r mount and an American defense mount. Obviously the ADM is higher quality but it seems to sit way lower and i have to get my head in a seriously awkward angle to get a sight picture. It’s quick detach also so not sure if that’s a plus or minus. I may have to buy another mount but don’t want to waste anymore money on a low pro or anything. Thanks in advance! wgj3
Which ADM do you have? Lots of folk run LaRue mounts, Warne, GG&G has good one, JP, MI, Vortex, and others. Whichever Switchview is the right size for the throwlever choice.
mattmann
I’m not sure. I’ll check when I get back and let you know. I was seeing warne a lot so was assuming they are g2gSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
TonytheTiger
I'm using an MK Machine throw lever for the Sig Tango 6 scope, with a slightly longer screw. I managed to destroy the first one but Tyler at MK agreed to make me a beefed up unit for a little extra money.

TonytheTiger
Yup. If you order one ask in the order notes box if you can get the same set up for a C3 that Anthony Dietmeier purchased. Tyler will probably contact you before shipping it, and he'll remember my recent purchase. http://mkmachining.com/product/sig-tango6-throw-lever/ I just noticed he's making aluminum levers also, might be worth looking into. MaddHatter
I emailed mgmswitchview and received the following in case anyone else was wondering which one would fit. The best fitting lever for the C-3 would be our 1966SV. However, there will be an unfilled notch in the lever, but will not affect the function of the lever. mattmann
[emoji106]Tony, what kind of mount do you recommend? I was looking at the warne mounts but they have several. I don’t want a “low profile” mount. I want one that when I place my face on my stock it’s there. Thanks! TonytheTiger
Sounds like you might be looking for a high mount. https://www.americandefensemanufacturing.com/view/product/188/ https://www.larue.com/products/larue-tactical-spr-m4-1-93-mount-qd-lt135/ Those are the first two that come to mind. I have the opposite problem, I have to use a cheek riser because they don’t make a mount low enough.

CharlieD
Thanks, but the only low mount they make that i’m aware of is the SL, but that is not an extended mount. I had one of the recon mounts, but it’s about the same as everything else out there 1.5” high.
mattmann
I ended up going with the bobro extended mount single throw lever. They seemed to have really good reviews. I went with a qd mount due to taking it off to clean when I need to and not worrying about zero. Also, I “heard” that the Larue mounts were chewing peoples rails up? Not sure how true this is, and it’s not a safe queen but I don’t want it chewed up either. [emoji1303]Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
OPENB
I have a Rock River Arms Scout rail that cantilevers WAY out over the handguard. Then i put a set of Warne rings on it. You can get what ever height rings you want. I use the medium, I think they are 1.5" high. It is a very solid setup, but heavy, and is not QD.
