Jory45acp
I cut my teeth in IPSC shooting .45acp 230gr over 3.9gr of Clays. I think it's a clean and very reliable consistent load from my experience. I am still on the older powder, I bought 32lbs when a deal came up years ago and have been using it since. I've loaded over 33k with this recipe and doubt I'll ever need to change it. lc11
I've been putting 4.0grs Bullseye in all my 200gr SWC/230gr LRN bullets, for the past 15+yrs, simply fantastic results in my 1911's. Accurate, soft shooting and most important 100% cycling. RCBS dies, Lee FCD set for light crimp.
trulyapostolic
For light loads I've been burning 3.9gr N310 for years with Winchester primers and Zero 185gr SWCHP bullets. Shoots well enough indoors at 50' and outdoors at 25 yards. This group was shot during a practice session, right at 1" CTC for 10 shots. Wish I could do this regularly...
