GregInAtl
For those of you that lubricate the shaft of your Dillon press with 30w motor oil, how do you apply it, with a rag, squirt bottle, etc.? I find that it is difficult to apply oil without getting on other places or it dripping since the shaft is perpendicular to the table.. oteroman
I put 2-3 drops on a Q-tip and rub on the shaft base at 4 points equally. I use Mobil1 it lasts a long time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Dirtchevy841
Dropper bottle. They sell different sizes at hair supply stores. Get what you like. I have a small and medium bottles and no drops going all over the place. Cheap and easy. Bottles are under a buck.

tires2burn
I used a shoe polish bottle with a built in sponge on top. Cleaned it out real good with alcohol & filled it with Mobil 1. The cap keeps the sponge clean and no matter how you use it it doesn't over lube. A couple of taps on the side of the ram & its good to go. Miranda
start of session, I run the ram up and add a few drips around the shaft. end of session I wipe a rag around the bottom of the press and end of the shaft ...I'd prefer a pressurized lubrication system. I just can't think up a good way to catch the dripping. miranda
